The ISIP recognizer, conceived in the late 1980's, was written in C++. At the time, C++ was an emerging language and made the most sense as a development platform. The goal of this project is to convert ISIP's technology base to Java and to take advantage of many emerging tools for cloud computing and platform independence. We are also embracing the Eclipse IDE.
