A Basic System Overview of the Production System
The basic system tutorial consists of a simple open-loop, one-word experiment that demonstrates the features of the production system. The speech data for the experiment included in this tutorial consists of 880 single word training utterances and 880 single word test utterances from the TIDIGITS corpus. The 13 (C0-C12) fourier-transform derived cepstral coefficients are extracted from the speech data. All the procedures for feature extraction using our graphical user interface, training and decoding have been laid out in a step-by-step fashion.
