Speech Recognition System Design Reviews (SRSDR)

SRSDR is held every January, and is a small, focused workshop attended by human language engineering professionals from industry and academia. At this workshop we review our software design, solicit feedback on the current system design, and discuss future directions. As with all ISIP activities, everything from this workshop is on-line, including the workshop program. Please see:

Speech Recognition System Training Workshop (SRSTW)

SRSTW is a one-week workshop hosted in late May on the fundamentals of speech recognition. This workshop features half-day lectures on theory as well as half-day laboratories in which you receive hands-on instruction on the technology. By the end of the workshop, participants should be able to train and evaluate a large vocabulary speech recognition system.

The number of available seats for this workshop are limited, so please register early. We subsidize travel and living expenses for graduate students. It is an excellent opportunity to learn practical aspects of speech recognition technology. Please see:
