This release contains word trancription scores of ICSI word
transcriptions and ISIP MS98 word transcriptions.  
There are 3 directories in this release:

	1) icsi_v_truth
	--------------------------------------------------------------
	   ICSI transcriptions compared to updated ISIP
           transcriptions.  Only the segments of updated ISIP data
           that appeared in the ICSI transcriptions were used to
           generate these scores.


	2) old_isip_v_truth_quotes
	-------------------------------------------------------------
	   The December release of ISIP transcriptions compared to
           updated ISIP transcriptions.  Only the segments of updated
           ISIP data that appeared in the ICSI transcriptions were
           used to generate these scores.


	3) old_isip_v_truth_whole_ut
	--------------------------------------------------------------
	   The December 2000 release of ISIP transcriptions comapred to
           updated ISIP transcriptions.  The entire utterances of the
           updated ISIP data were used to generate these scores.


Each directory contains :

     o icsi_util.exe, This program was used to normalize ICSI and ISIP
       transcrptions.

     o prep_ref.pl, This script was used to replace the utterance IDs
       with unique IDs.  This is necessary since more that one ICSI
       utterance maps to the same ISIP utterance.  

     o the *.score files used as hyp and ref for the NIST scoring tool

     o the *.text files that are the source of the *.score files

     o the *.report file with the WER and utteranace alignments.
