Here are the releases of our USFS image analysis system. The system was initially designed to classify forest images according to their scenic beauty quality. It has been augmented in the latest release, which has incorporated the ability of automatic image segmentation. The system was built on the basis of Principal Components Analysis (PCA).

• Image Analysis v6.2: This version includes automatic image segmentation and a transcription tool that can be used to generate reference data for segmentation algorithm development.
  
  
• Image Analysis v3.1: This version includes features based on histograms of yellow and brown, increasing the total number of features from 45 to 65. A detailed description of the features can be found here.
  
  
• Image Analysis v1.0: The first version of our scenic beauty estimation software.
